Photojournalism became my
passion in my early twenties and soon I worked as staff photographer at the leading illustrated magazines in Poland at that time. I restored in Photoshop some of my work from that time to prepare a selection for retrospective exhibition in the Museum of Photography, Krakow, Poland, April 2007. Here I share these images with you.
I specialized in B/W photo essays usually
showing the life of ordinary people. Photographic reportage as a expression form still fascinates
me today, so I would like to show you also photo stories shot in this millennium. People from the Gettin Higher Choir are especially close to my heart. I used to sing with them for a few seasons. Later I documented with my camera all choir performances since the charity concert to revive Kappaseni village in Mozambique with special guest—Nelly Furtado. The Latest concert with Beth Nielsen Chapman took place in Victoria, BC on June 15, 07. What a great, joyful experince!
I love Paris with its vibrant, sensual atmosphere and deeply respect and admire Buddhist tradition and rituals.
